Licensed – First Choice Pool & Spa Service, Inc. is fully licensed with the State of Florida. Many would be competitors operate without a license. All Chemicals Are Included – We test for all five chemicals, adding chemicals as necessary without charging any additional amounts for added chemicals. Criminal Background Checks – According to the Bureau of Justice, if recent incarceration rates remain unchanged, an estimated 1 of every 15 people will serve time in a prison during their lifetime. Although we cannot quote specific statistics, we believe that this ratio is signficantly higher within the pool service industry. Quality Control – We utilize proprietary quality control systems, including issue resolution tracking and response systems and regular random field inspections with compensation and employment stability consequences to the respective associate.
Service Consistency – With our in-house policy called “A Tuesday Pool Is A Tuesday Pool”, we reject the generally mediocre industry standard of inconsistent service days. Our policy is that a Service Technican must service a pool on its scheduled day, unless management approval is obtained. Failure to comply with this policy has immediate compensation and employment stability consequences to the assigned Service Technician.
Extensive Ongoing Training – In addition to an intial 80 hour training process, we provide an additional 50 hours of training each year via our weekly substantive training sessions. These include classroom and field training, and also make use of our one of a kind equipment training center, complete with operating pool equipment. Further, we encourage associates to obtain their CPO® (Certified Pool Operator) designation as soon as possible after beginning employment with us. Assisting with this objective, we are among an elite group of pool service and repair companies nationally that have an in-house CPO® Instructor. Many of our associates have this CPO® designation, which makes us a true rarity in the industry (most pool service companies have zero or one CPO® designated employee) and is emblematic of our strong commitment to excellence.
